  • A nice little museum dedicated to the famous author. Several buildings are in an enclosed area which you have to pay to visit, a gift shop (of course). We spent a bit of time there, bought postcards.....  more

  • Great little museum! I’ve loved The little house books, and show since I was young, and I was thrilled to take my kids here with me. They too have loved the stories, and it was a great way for their little minds to grasp some of the things described in the books, since our world of technology has changed so much since those days! They were amazed by all of the things “from the olden days”. We really enjoyed the gift shop too! A great selection of trinkets and goods to commemorate a visit to the museum! We were also pleased to find out they would mail items purchased, or would take phone orders! We were visiting from Florida, and our daughter really wanted “Ma’s China woman” but we were concerned about it being broken on the flight home. We called when we got home, and they shipped it out the next day!
  • Love every bit of this experience. My all time favorite show as a child and recently introduced it to my daughter. 😊💝
