This place needs more attention so people wanting to learn more get to. Amazing to be able to touch a part of history and how free citizens affected the outcome out our Free State. A must for all Kansas Jayhawkers

On the one hand, it is pretty cool being at a church that was around since Kansas' territorial days. However, the church itself wasn't open when I attempted to visit it. There also wasn't any actual signs at the church about its history; they were all located alongside the K18 highway.
