National Packard Museum, Warren

#1 of 9 in Things to do in Warren
The National Packard Museum opened at its current site on July 4, 1999. The more than 21,000 square foot complex includes three galleries, a vault and an annex and is located next to the W.D. Packard Music Hall and at the north end of Packard Park in Warren, Ohio's historic district.

The museum houses a rotating display of original and restored Packard automobiles as well as, original documents, photographs, artifacts, and interpretive materials that chronicle the illustrious history of the Packard family, the Packard Motor Car Company, and the Packard Electric Company.

It also hosts special exhibits throughout the year including a vintage motorcycle exhibit that begins each January.

Our permanent collection continues to grow through the generous contributions of individuals, corporate sponsors, public and private foundations, as well as private collectors.

  • Awesome museum..drove up from Pittsburgh & it was well worth the trip! So many AMAZING cars& other vehicles, and other kinds of related Packard items.Even mannequins "posed" throughout with the cool clothing that was popular back then(except for the fur items,UGHπŸ˜”πŸ’”).Placards at each vehicle, detailing the history of each one..very interesting stuff, indeed. The lady at the desk was so warm & welcoming & gave us a brief history before my boyfriend & I started our self-guided tour.We had the place 2 ourselves,as it wasn't far from closing time. And ,even cooler,we met a rescue dog named Lucy there.πŸ˜ŠπŸ•πŸ’•It was only $8 & very enjoyable. If u r ever in or around Warren,OH(which is only about 10 min.from Youngstown),do yourself a favor & check this little gem outπŸ˜ŠπŸ‘πŸ‘
  • I'm not into cars at all, but even I was impressed! I was there for the Women in History luncheon and lecture and they picked a great place to have it! This is an impressive car museum right here in Warren Ohio. Easy to get to and plenty of parking in the lot right in front of the door. They change up the exhibits for variety; like a fabulous motorcycles exhibit. Warren is fortune to have such a great venue.
