  If you’re nearby, take the drive. The trails ultimately lead to the lake or beach. Short walk to the Rim.  more »

  Plenty of parking, nice trails through the woods to wonderful views over the countryside. Interesting geology on the trails, this is a fascinating area. No restrooms in the parking lot, as I recall.  more »

  What a great place to visit. The view is spectacular and there is all kinds of exploring to do. Make sure to find the stairs that go down between the rocks to the bottom. Tons of bouldering.

  Beautiful view, nice hike to the beach. Be prepared for 1.3 miles of uphill hiking back, but it's not too steep steep. Start from the beach and hike up to Rimrock, that way when you're tired, it's all downhill going back.
