  • I love my state parks! Thanks to the Corp for building the lake. This is full amenity camp ground
  • Scenic and well maintained, but it had a hint of an unsettling institutional feel to it. The picnic areas in the Eastern part of the park are a nice place to relax for a while — but the rocky shoreline right below it is a beautifully scenic hidden gem if you're willing to walk down the hillside. Camping fees seem reasonable as far as camping fees go, and I may pay the camping side of the park a visit in the future.
