    Fletcher's Boathouse is always a treat to visit for a day on the water. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Fletcher's Boathouse is a huge treasure for the DMV area. Highly recommended.

    Fletchers is a great place to rent a kayak and it is usually not crowded. Very helpful personnel, and nice sit inside kayaks with comfortable seats and good tracking. Just went yesterday and the Fall....  more

    Very friendly staff, easy parking and checkin. Though you might hear nearby traffic noise, the beautiful and peaceful scenery really makes you relax. Water is calm too, even with some breeze you should be doing fine ( we are a mom and a six year girl so ). We even landed on a small “island “ to take a break and observed the wild life ( deers and ducks) . Really great place to unwind.

    Fletcher Boat House as I use to call it 35 plus years ago is the same as its always been. You can rent kayak, bikes and even a canoe. If you want to eat you will have to bring it yourself. There are grills and tables here so bring what you want to cook. Great place to go and spend the day outside.
