Formerly Islandtime Books, Fair Isle Books added fair trade gifts in 2015 for the store's 12th season on this beautiful island in Lake Michigan off the tip of the Door County peninsula. Fair Isle seeks to inspire curiosity, connection & compassion through story.

The shop features island and Door Co. authors as well as bestsellers in fiction & nonfiction, adult & child literature. Fair trade items include jewelry, home goods, garden and gift items purchased fairly from artisans working to lift themselves our of poverty.

    One of the most interesting little spots on the island. They are a fair trade store, which makes it all the more interesting. The book selection is wide and great too. I would highly recommend going there, you are sure to find odd and beautiful little gifts for yourself and others there.
