  • Very well done. Illustrates the way people lived in early Texas. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I would imagine that children would enjoy visiting here. Well worth the $5 entry fee.  more »
  • Wonderful history of life and hardships back in the day. Beautiful home. Sure do not build them to last today as they did then. Working farm with things from that era. Enjoyed!  more »
  • Do not miss this place. You really felt like you stepped back in time. But please don't just walk around. Talk to the staff. They are amazing and knew so much. They really added so much detail that you never would have gotten otherwise.
  • The tour guides are dressed in period clothing, doing farmwork with time appropriate tools and heritage breeds. It really takes you back to that time and helps you see a little more into their day to day life. The guides are also very friendly and well informed.
