  • This is a fun museum. If you want the back story on Texas becoming a nation with Washington as it's capital, this is it! We spent hours here and loved every minute of it.
  • Every Texan should make the pilgrimage to the birthplace of the Republic. As with the US, the founding fathers of Texas put their lives on the line when they declared Independence from Mexico. And you can see where it all went down right here! A fantastic experience, a wonderful museum and a beautiful park. Highly recommended!
