Holy Land USA Ruins, Waterbury

I see this place all the time on the highway and thought lets check it out. When I first went the gate wasn't open so if felt like we were trespassing although the online said it was open. I wish it was maintained because the idea behind the park is great. Beautiful view of Waterbury!

Cool little abandoned christian theme park in Waterbury. Pulling up I didn't know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at what I saw. It's cute, kind of like a kids play set, everything is small, but also eerie like a deserted crumbling town. Pretty good amount to see and take pictures of. Fantastic view of the city from the top near the giant cross. Didn't realize I was also there on good Friday, which made it more weird lol. Good little spot to check out with kids and adults alike, if you're in the need for something to do.
