Since 1979, The Plumbing Museum has attracted plumbers, tradesmen and curious visitors from all walks of life. The museum offers a unique, trade-specific take on American history. Moreover the museum stands as a tribute to the plumbers, engineers and inventors whose hard work and creative spirit have contributed so much to the betterment of our society.

Relocated from Worcester, MA in 2008, the restored Plumbing Museum in Watertown juxtaposes early examples of plumbing equipment with modern fixtures and techniques.

Come explore our exhibits, appreciate history, and experience a new kind of Americana.

The Plumbing Museum features stimulating exhibits including: artifacts dating back to the 19th Century, a look at the evolution of plumbing systems, and diagrams of various plumbing technologies.

  • This was very unique and worth seeking out. Parking wasn't great but be patient. They have quite a collection of bath and kitchen items. There is a place for you to make a donation.  more »
  • Such interesting stuff in this museum and very well displayed. I liked the comparison of prison toilets and the Plumber's Weekly covers from the 1920s the best. We went at around 11AM, though, and the...  more »

  • Not very interesting. Definitely don't plan on spending more than twenty minutes here to look at some old sinks and toilets.
  • A nice place to know about plumbing history, which is actually exciting for construction and engineering enthusiasts.
