  • The park on the Waterville side is very nice with signs and sculptures. It needs some shade. The bridge itself is fun to walk over. And on the Winslow side you can walk up the hill to a gazebo.

  • Not only is this a great history lesson for Waterville, the park is beautiful and very well kept. The bridge is special for me because my mother used to cross it daily to go to work at the old...

  • Interesting historical spot. Seems like it could use some upkeep (floodlight was broken and dangling) but structurally it was sound. You can just imagine folks paying a penny to cross over to go to work, shopping, school, etc.
  • A beautiful suspension bridge nice and long doesn't wiggle too much. The far side there's a very nice park benches a little bit of art beautiful river with ducks. A few kids were fishing along the bank and they were actually catching some good size fish. Great spot to relax your day away
