  • Sundown on a windy cloudy spring afternoon. Walked most of the trails it was quiet and very peaceful. There are benches throughout to stop and take in the beauty, meditate or observe nature. I saw one green Jay, green heron, 2 olive Sparrow, 1 night hawk, numerous red winged blackbird. Yellow fronted woodpecker, 2 scissor tailed flycatcher, black bellied ducks, great white herons, and a couple of other bird types. Oh, also saw Wally Gator! (Pic) The facility is first class and found myself relaxing as I walked along. There are bike paths and dogs are allowed with leash. Hours 8am-5pm Thank you!
  • If you love nature; you'll love this place. You'll enjoy the outdoors plus they have different programs going on. See the programs listed on the last picture. I hope you enjoy going as much as I did.
