Palisades Center is a shopping mall in West Nyack, New York, which as of December 2022, is the twelfth-largest by gross leasable space. It was built in the industrial style. It has also been of the nation's most lucrative malls, producing $40 million in annual sales tax and $17 million in property taxes in its first ten years of operation.
Developed by The Pyramid Companies, and opened in March 1998, the mall was named after the nearby Palisades, which border the Hudson River and the eastern part of Rockland County. The mall is bounded on three sides by major state routes: the New York State Thruway (Interstates 87 and 287) to the north (Exit 12), NY Route 303 to the east, and NY Route 59 to the south. It is also located near the Thruway's intersection of the Palisades Interstate Parkway, and is only a few miles west of the Tappan Zee Bridge, which provides access from points east of the Hudson River.

  • We are from Kentucky and visiting our three grandsons who live in Hopewell Junction, NY. Our son suggested Palisades Center and we were glad he did. The food court has a good variety and our lunch was an ample portion. The boys then attacked the climbing wall. We were there on a Wednesday and it happened to be 1/2 price day. The boys spent about an hour scaling the walls and had a blast. The rest of the mall is amazing. Plenty of stores, free parking in the open lots and very clean. It's three stories and you could easily spend the entire day. It's perfect for a rainy day outing with lots to offer. As an aside, there is a indoor go-cart track and other recreational activities. We also went to a Dave and Busters and we all enjoyed the games.
  • This is the mall to go to when shopping in the holidays. Mall has indoor ferris wheel which seem like it is closed. In the center of the mall, there is adventure ropes course to keep your children entertained while shopping. There is go-kart racing on the second floor which can go upto 50 mph. Mostly all the stores you will find in the mall and no parking fees to park around the mall parking lot. I have found this mall clean and restrooms are also clean on my every visit.
