The Richard J. Coffee Mercer County Park is a recreational park located mostly within West Windsor in Mercer County, New Jersey. Originally and still more commonly known as simply Mercer County Park, it was renamed for New Jersey State Senator Richard J. Coffee on October 15, 2009. The park encompasses over 2,500 acres (10 km2) covering much of southern West Windsor, with portions extending into adjacent Hamilton and Lawrence. Mercer Lake, located within the park, is the home for the US Olympic Rowing Team's training center. The National Softball Association honored the Mercer County Park Commission with its "Outstanding Parks Award" for the softball fields and facilities in Mercer County Park. It has served as the home field for the New Jersey Pride of the Major League Lacrosse for one game in 2004, 2005 and 2006.Put Mercer County Park into our West Windsor Township attractions planner to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in West Windsor Township.

The Mercer County Park is a beautiful, serene oasis in the middle of the hustle and bustle of everyday living. This particular night we were at the Boathouse on the Marina for an outside festive happy hour with food, drink and a wonderful band, Kindred Spirit. Lots of fun, good conversation (the band was excellent and kept it lively but at a nice sound level). The lake and surrounding area us just beautiful and hard to believe homes, businesses and Mercer college are all nearby. Just the thing for a quick getaway. Highly recommended!

Large park with no shortage of areas for activities. More ports potties and trash cans would be ideal, but I understand how infrastructure works unfortunately, it’s already such a large area it would most likely take even more for those suggestions to be maintain. At any rate still a great park to bring the kids or for a solo jog. Had an opportunity to volunteer at a Triathlon held her as well and the park officials were phenomenal in supporting such a great event!
