Yellowstone Vacation Tours, West Yellowstone

As someone who travels alone for photography, I cannot recommend Yellowstone Vacation Tours enough. Prior to my arrival, I had to made a last minute change - they answered the phone on my first call, answered my questions, and helped me find the best options for my weekend trip to West Yellowstone. Beware of the 14 day cancellation policy, as their trips book up very quick. I had to cancel within 14 days, and they were extremely helpful. I've attended dozens of tours around the world - this was by far the most user-friendly and courteous group of professionals I've ever dealt with. I took the Snow Coach Tour of Yellowstone, which was the most comfortable and fascinating tour that I've ever experienced. Our guide, Justin, made us feel safe and continued to share knowledge about the park in a conversational way throughout our day. We were able to see more of the park than I would have ever seen without a guide, and more so, he timed our trip perfectly to experience multiple geysers erupting while also seeing amazing wildlife. I was originally going to take the snowmobile tour, however the comfort, cleanliness, and visibility from inside the snow coach allowed us the best possible experience possible. I also rented a snowmobile for one day. After picking up my snow gear (one piece suit, mittens, and boots) I was shown to my machine and given an in depth overview of how it operated. The machine was well maintained and comfortable - allowing me to remain fully in control. This company allowed for this trip to be successful for my photography as well as great fun - I have already told my family and friends back home, and hope to come back one Summer to enjoy more of their options. One of the best experiences I have ever had! Our guide Dan was one of the smartest people I have ever met. He knew everything about the park, its wildlife, the surrounding area, and everything else. He was great at keeping a lookout for wildlife and making sure we were able to get the most out of our experience. I’ve been to Yellowstone in the summer, but going in the winter was my favorite experience especially with this tour. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and everyone who wants to get the most out of their experience in Yellowstone.
