We were attending a Thanksgiving family reunion, and this location was chosen for a "field trip". Everyone enjoyed the experience. Not only were there many, many toys and trains on display, there were plenty of opportunities for the kids (all ages) to interact. We had about 50 people in our group, and the large building easily accomodated us. The staff was very helpful. Based on my experiences with other museums, this facility is far above average, and is a very well run place. The staff both in front of the public, as well as behind the scenes, is to be commended for their fine work. The building alone is worth a visit, because it is an old school. There is plenty of beautiful wood work, and some of the rooms still have their original blackboards (!)
