  • Situated in a beautiful old municipal City Hall building, which even showcased the mayor’s office. We learned that Wichita was the air capital of the world. There was a good film about this, but...

  • Nice museum that has 3 floors of exhibits that are very interesting and has a good range of different things to see. Set in Downtown area and used to be a government building and that is good to see.....  more

  • This is a great, affordable local attraction. I love the 1880s architecture, the original Wichita mayor’s office, the display about the civil rights drug store sit-in, and the turn of the century “cottage” you can walk through! It’s a fantastic way to spend an afternoon…if you haven’t been, plan to spend at least a couple of hours exploring the four floors of exhibit space.
  • Admission is FREE on Sundays from 1-5 pm! This museum is definitely aimed towards adults as the exhibits are mostly read and look. Took us over an hour to look at everything including the garden outside. Neat little museum to visit if you’re bored on a Sunday and are looking for something to do.
