Bearizona Wildlife Park, Williams

4.6
#1 of 9 in Parks in Williams
An animal sanctuary where local species roam free, Bearizona Wildlife Park provides wild encounters with bears, wolves, and birds of prey. You'll find access to the surrounding forest via a well-maintained gravel road. Animals may run out into the road, so drive slowly and keep your windows closed. Walkers can stroll through Fort Bearizona to view baby animals before they are released into the open park. Consider taking in a show near the fort. Trained birds of prey exhibit their wingspan and hunting capability, or you can view an otter feeding. Join the Wild Ride VIP Bus Tour for a guided journey behind the scenes and close-up introduction to animals. The VIP tours are available on a first come, first served basis. Choose to start, finish, or center your holiday on a trip to Bearizona Wildlife Park by using our Williams road trip planner.

  • We did the drive through in our own car then went back and did the bus drive through. Great family experience.  more »

  • We drove up for the day while we were on holidays in Phoenix. The drive up was long, but very scenic. Bearizona had a lot of indigenous animals to see plus a few others. The walk through part had an otter exhibit that was cool and they have a new jaguar exhibit. You can see that they're pumping quite a bit of money into their facilities. The drive through portion definitely lived up to their name with dozens of bears. We spent roughly 3 hours here and I found their pricing to be reasonable. We bought food here and it was just okay at best. We went at the end of March when temps were cooler and the animals were active. Very neat experience and I would recommend it to friends.
  • We always love to spend the day at Bearizona. We enjoy seeing the animals and visiting the gift shop. We haven't tried the restaurant yet but the coffee from the coffee bar is delicious. Make sure you do the Wild Ride Bus Tour! It's included with admission.
