Jamestown Settlement offers a living recreation of the first successful English colony in North America. Located near the actual archaeological Jamestown site, the museum provides an open-air display of replica 17th-century buildings, a fort, and colonial life. You can explore the social history of the settlement through a series of exhibits and galleries, and experience a life-size Powhatan Native American village. To track the journey of the Jamestown colonists to the New World, don't miss the three sailing ships docked in the river. Visit the museum's gift shop for historical-themed souvenirs, hand-made ceramics, jewelry, and glassware. Such a fun and historical place to visit! Very informative! Being able to see replicas of the ships they sailed on was really cool! The exhibits inside and outside are set up really well!! Everyone was very willing to answer your questions! The staff is so great here!

A fantastic museum full of history. Went with the whole family, everyone found something they enjoyed! Even my 5 year old son helped assist the blacksmiths in making a hammer -which was the best part of his day there! The boats you can walk through were amazing and really neat to see. The employees in the walk-through area were very informative about the history of the town and seemed to love what they were doing there. I thoroughly enjoyed the Native American outdoor exhibit! Absolutely amazing to watch them make arrows and describe what it was like during the time period.
