Since 2002, Williamsburg Farmers Market is located in Merchants Square in the heart of historic Williamsburg, Virginia. Over 30 vendors offer a variety of local products, among which are fresh seasonal produce, free-range chickens, beef, bison, pork, clams, oysters, fish, crabs, prawns, herbs, potted plants, baked goods, confections, honey, cheese, mushrooms, cut flowers, handmade soaps, d├ęcor and more. Enjoy chef demonstrations, listen to live music, and learn from Master Gardeners and other exhibitors while you shop.

While every vendor accepts cash, the market also has a central currency, in the form of tokens that allow our vendors to accept W&M Express and SNAP.

  • First time there this morning. Real vendors with cool products. Produce was reasonably priced and seemed legit--we bought corn $6/dozen. Nice community atmosphere. Parking was a bear, though, so be prepared for combat. Try parking garage--may be worth a couple bucks to park easier. We are planning to return next week we liked it so much. • Williamsburg Farmer's Market is among the top markets in the country for cities it's size. I go every Saturday, rain or shine. Anything you would want to eat is available from farm fresh produce, baked items, cheeses, peanuts, grass-fed and organic meats, fish and seafood, wines, and kombucha. I leaving out a lot but it is an outstanding market compared to many others I have been to.
