Create an itinerary including Williamsburg Pottery
Established in 1938 as a local pottery store and workshop, today Williamsburg Pottery is one of the most popular sites in Virginia's Historic Triangle. Located near Colonial Williamsburg, the store occupies a mall-like space and, thanks to renovations, the design recalls a European-style market. Wander the display areas and take in the different styles of pottery and crafts, including the store's signature salt-glazed items. If pottery isn't your passion, browse the extensive selection of other decorative items for your home, such as baskets, candles, frames, and kitchenwares. Be sure to try some of the local craft wines as well. • I was, quite honestly, disappointed. I was expecting a place that offered unique, quality, artistic level pottery. It is the most bizarre collection of incredibly cheap home goods.
