  • This is a very interesting place. The staff at the visitors center was very helpful and also interesting. The C&O Canal towpath is very nice for riding bike or walking. The restored aqueduct is also very nice looking. If you are close by, and have some time, definitely stop in and check things out for yourself. There is a decent amount of parking available.
  • The towpath is very rustic and enjoyable place to ride a bike with a friend. Early evening rides are populated with plenty of wildlife and punctuated with wonderful views of the river and rocky cliffs. With some history mixed in, the park has a unique character and charm and the staff prides itself on maintaining the park in its natural state.
