Lake Wappapello State Park Reviews
First Campsites layed out on the side of a hill with well spaced pads, clean, neat, & juxtaposed so that you have a view of the lake! More of a meadow with a few trees. The second is on a ridge, built in the woods with lots of trees & some views of the lake! Both have clean, well kept bathroom and shower facilities!
Had a campsite on the lake, very enjoyable. Showerhouse was clean, campground area was small, nice area to walk around. Loved being able to put our kayaks into the lake from our campsite. Only negative was some rude campers walking through our campsite to get to the lake, when they could have very easily walked next to our site for easy access.
