  • GREAT IDEA FOR A DATE OR SPENDING TIME WITH FAMILY. WHAT A WHIMSICAL PLACE TO PASS SOME TIME! WHEN WE WENT, THE AQUIFER WAS PRETTY FULL, AND THE BASE OF THE PATH WAS TOTALLY SUBMERGED IN CRYSTAL CLEAR WATER. IT GAVE THE WHOLE ADVENTURE A SURREAL FEELING WHICH ONLY LENT TO THE MAGIC OF THIS MASSIVE, SPECIMEN-,RICH GARDEN LAID INTO WHAT WOULD OTHERWISE BE AN ORDINARY LIMESTONE PIT.
  • The attraction of this place is the old abandoned quarry itself and all of the paths that the owners have put in. Some of the views are very nice. The plants, while nice, are really not the attraction. Think more home gardener than botanical garden. Most of the paths are easily walkable. There is one section with a large staircase which can be avoided if necessary.
