Great experience of the use of water generated power. Demonstration of the Turbine and subsequent lathes was fascinating. Lovely volunteer tour of the house.

Interesting history and example of water powered machines. You can watch as sluice gates are opened and water begins to start turbines. Very cool demos. Last entry is 3pm but if you want to visit the home, you should arrive by 2pm. We arrived at 2:30pm and had missed the last shuttle bus that takes you to the home. The museum offers discount rates for people who have and active EBT card ($2 per person).
