  • Visited there after a visit to Fort Fisher. There is a lot of history in that cemetery. David Brinkley is buried there as well. The cemetery is well kept and a good place to walk.  more »
  • You can feel the history here as you ply the narrow roads (which can be confusing and are not mapped on your mobile device). The old growth vegetation and venerable gravestones are as real as can be.....  more »

  • I have been living in the Wilmington area for little over a year. I've heard and read alot about this cemetary and finally made a brief visit there yesterday. I will be going back when have more time to explore and enjoy. Kind of a neat place with lots of history.
  • This is a beautiful well kept cemetery. if you enjoy historical places, you will want to visit . Confederate and union soldiers were buried here. It is huge and I will return to see more of it.
