  • I was there mid-afternoon on a weekday so there were very few other people around. It was the perfect opportunity to just wander and sit by the creek. Definitely worth a visit.

  • It was a very nice park. We didn't go swimming, only hiking because we were there for a few minutes. The park was so crowded, so definitely not my personal choice for a picnic, but there was a decent amount of space in the swimming area. The view was spectacular with the trees submerged in the water and the water a glistening green-blue. Swimming costs money per person but there is an annual pass, hiking and stopping by is free but only can stay for a few minutes to take a look.
  • Beautiful park. You have to make reservations and they let you stay in the park for 4 hours. The cypress trees are gorgeous. The water was very cold, though! The steps to get into the water can be slippery. Bring a towel or blanket to lay in the sun after getting out of the water. No glass bottles allowed but we brought a small cooler with canned water and cokes and snacks. Enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.
