  • Girls weekend camping trip. Easy camping at the tent sites for first time campers. Bathroom and showers were super clean even though the campground was full. Rangers were friendly and helpful...

  • An extremely beautiful park! It's all located basically on one bluff which is pretty unique from what I've seen. There's not a lot of trails but that doesn't mean it's not worth the time to explore every square inch of this park. Every trail pretty much brings you to an overlook of the area and it's worth seeing every one. The campsite we were at was a little small but we managed. They have restrooms at the center of the campground area and they were clean and very nice on the inside. There were no rangers when we first pulled in so we had to fill out a card to register. That being said I had a ton of fun and would love to come back again someday!
  • It was an absolute surprise how beautiful this place is in the fall. A wonderful view of the Mississippi river. I did the full hike, with all overlook options. It is not a very steep hiking, i saw a lot of elderly people walking and also many places to rest during the hike. Make sure you being cash in case you don’t have a pass, no electronic payment for day pass. It costed $7, the process is all manual.
