  • It's very nice to see small communities take the initiative to not only preserve their history but present them in a fashion that is not only well organized but also interesting to go through. The admission is quite cheap ($5) considering that this historical society is operating in what appears to be a newly renovated building. The bulk of the museum is contained in a beautiful historic brick building with a main floor exhibit space and second floor gallery. This is a nice place to visit if you have 1-2 hours to spend and want to get a better understanding of Winona's history!
  • Winona County's history is presented in lovely displays in a great old historic building downtown. Also has current displays of local interest (or work of local artisans) which changes periodically.
