  • This gem is off the beaten path, but well worth the drive to get there! The store is an amazing preservation of history. The personal attention visitors get is charming and unique. The Edmund...

  • This place is a step into yesterday. Gas pump is from 1960's, store has basic essentials and good bathrooms. Nothing else is anywhere nearby.

  • This museum is not a highly visited site. As it is fairly remote. The tour was for the most part one on one with a resident and curator. The history of the town given, was AWESOME and very detailed. I can not say enough nice things about this link to the past. The town of Chloride was tidy and clean. However getting through the town of Winston ( 2 miles outside of Chloride) was a bit intimidating, as the town of Winston was a mess. A visit to Chloride is highly recommended.
  • The town store was fantastic - like walking into the 1918 mid silver-rush. The towns national forest is also known as The Hanging Tree. So glad we went and enjoyed a few hours hearing the towns historic stories & feeling like it's 1900. The host (wish I got her name) was amazing and taught us alot about this cute town. They even had a small RV park. Thank you for being amazing. The Baileys @CoveredRVwagon
