  • Love biking and walking around here! The history is very interesting, the buildings are so nice to see. Takes you back in time. We biked up and down the roads and loved it.

  • My family had a wonderful time walking through old salem. They have a school house, a bakery, a quilting shop and much more. The area is beautiful and worth a visit. The staff here are extremely knowledgeable about their crafts and the history of the site. If you decide to go stop by the bakery, they have amazing baked goods! You won't regret this outing!
  • We were disappointed that not many of the buildings (only 4) were open. The MESDA museum was very well done, and the interpreters throughout the village were fabulous--they were very passionate about their work and were very well-informed. However, there are no restaurants in the village and the hours of the open buildings are very limited. I'm not sure the ticket price is justified for what they offer.
