A heaven for Lego lovers, Legoland Florida Resort features over 50 interactive rides, shows, and attractions, all designed with small children in mind. Opened in 2011, the park encompasses 60 hectares (145 acres), making it the second largest Lego-themed park in the world. Kid-friendly attractions include roller coasters with indoor dark ride portions, wave pools, waterslides, multi-level tree and rope climbs, medieval-themed jousts with Lego horses, and outdoor games where visitors build and test their own Lego cars. You can also take a rotating platform ride, providing 360-degree views of the entire park, or join a guided factory tour for a firsthand look at the creative process behind the popular Lego brick sets. The best vacation I've been on. I have two little ones, one is 3 years old and the other is 11 months old. There was something for everyone. My 11 month old had so many play areas to get out and stretch his legs. My 3 year old had so many rides she could go on and have a great time. The hotel was so fun, and had a lot of areas to keep the kids busy and entertained. We will definitely be back.
We liked it. Had fun with our 5 year old. Can't help but feel like Legoland in California is better with a bit more to do. Legoland Florida needs to get a few more things fixed to get all the rides working at full capacity. Made for longer lines overall. Also, they need more food location offerings. This shortage made the few open places really crowded. The staff we interacted with were great. Everyone seemed in good spirits at this park. Lots of nice families. My son really enjoyed the water park. Legoland Hotel and pool were awesome with a 3 story water slide! Have fun!
