  • This was my first of many returning visits I will have here. I decided the pups and I needed some time in nature and thought this place would a great place for a new adventure together. Overall, this Reserve is very, very clean and has nice signage to direct you. I do not having anything negative to report. However, considerations for next time. Bring more water and poop bags(thankfully, mine didn't have to go; but next time may be different). Also, wear good shoes. This trail is also open to horses so be watchful of their landmines.
  • Beautiful walk around the pond. Got stuck I. A thunderstorm and showers and had to take cover in the brush. Bad weather prohibited us from hiking all the way to Lake Hancock. We'll be back
