Cobblestone paths, manicured hedges, and cypress canopies define Kraft Azalea Gardens. This public park spans 4 hectares (11 acres) and is bordered by a lake on its north and west sides. The lake features a small dock for fishing, and the park offers benches for picnicking. Trails here lead visitors through 2 hectares (5 acres) of a section covered by landscaped gardens. The park is also home to a picturesque monument--a greek exedra--a semicircle of white colonnades. The park's romantic appeal and peaceful atmosphere make it a popular spot for wedding and engagement pictures. • Very peaceful and well laid out place. Not very big and only a few parking spots that quickly fill up on any good day, but great views of the water with plenty of space for a picnic.

  • Thirty years ago, my precious husband and I were married on the Exedra in Kraft Azalea Gardens. Every decade or so, we return. It is as breathtaking today as it was that July evening as the sun broke....  more

  • The Azalea Garden is a small but beautiful garden at the edge if a lake in an extremely nice neighborhood. There are plenty of tall trees and a fancy column structure/statue. This is a wonderful place to come to take photos (during my visit on a Sunday, there were at least two groups or people with professional photographers). Parking is free and is not too difficult to find. It is great to relax here or even for a quick 30 minute visit.
  • Loved this hide-away park. Perfect for photo taking. We were there for family portraits. They turned out beautifully. Many trees for shade in the warmer months, places to sit and watch the boats or jet skis on the lake. The park is filled with flowering bushes and a small water fountain that make for great backgrounds in our photos. Will revisit next time in Central Florida.
