Kraft Azalea Gardens, Winter Park

4.5
#2 of 8 in Parks in Winter Park
Garden · Nature / Park
Cobblestone paths, manicured hedges, and cypress canopies define Kraft Azalea Gardens. This public park spans 4 hectares (11 acres) and is bordered by a lake on its north and west sides. The lake features a small dock for fishing, and the park offers benches for picnicking. Trails here lead visitors through 2 hectares (5 acres) of a section covered by landscaped gardens. The park is also home to a picturesque monument--a greek exedra--a semicircle of white colonnades. The park's romantic appeal and peaceful atmosphere make it a popular spot for wedding and engagement pictures. • One of the beautiful places in Central Florida to hang out for an afternoon. I highly recommend for photos as well. We had our engagement pictures here over a decade ago and it is even more beautiful now.
  • Kraft Azalea is such a stunning park! It is so peaceful and has the most beautiful sunsets. It is the perfect location for photos too! ( Photos by Everlasting Photography Inc. )
