  • The bridge was interesting to view for its construction and past technology. You could walk through it, under it and climb on it to see every detail. I was amazed that nearly every inside surface was covered with graffiti. Little respect for a local landmark. It could use some maintenance but looked good for something over 150 years old. Some of the other bridges in the area were in better shape.
  • Winterset will always feel like home. I'm glad the City Park hasn't changed and the bridge is still there. Wish we'd had time to drive up to Clark's Tower, which my family helped construct. The park is well worth a visit if you're in town.
