  • One of the Covered Bridges in Madison County remains unrelocated. There is a feature in the arrangement of the floorboard and where the main structure is arched. The appearance over the river is still wonderful.

  • Part of the Bridges of Madison County tour. The history of the covered bridges is interesting enough. They're beautiful and well maintained in mostly rural settings a short drive from Des Moines. Well worth the trip and a great way to spend the day in the beautiful Iowa countryside. If I ever get back to the area I'll definitely make the time to do this again.
  • The water and serene setting of this bridge was just a great detour for a drive home. We couldn't stay long, but they were helpful with information about the bridges at the cidery. It's and excellent place for photos.
