  • Loved visiting Billings Farm! Perfect mix of museum and actually seeing the farm animals. Staff are knowledgeable and kind, always willing to answer questions and clearly passionate about their work. Very kid-friendly but also entertaining for adults. Great history included. It's nice how close it is to Woodstock so very convenient if you're staying there. Also right next to the start of the Mount Tom hiking trail. I especially enjoyed seeing the newborn cows! Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend!
  • So we were a little worried by the $16 admission fee, but by the end of the museum tour, the barn and cow tour, the milking demonstration and the farm managers house tour, we certainly felt as though we got our money's worth and then some. The museum is a walk through history of dairy farming in Vermont and was very detailed and well presented. The farm managers home was also well maintained and the presenters were very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend for history seekers and kids alike.
