  • Higher than the old faithful! I wish I could add a video here but it’s not supported by the app. This one is unpredictable, good luck!
  • We were just walking and some kind gentleman told us to wait and look at this. So we decided to wait. This is one of the best experiences at Yellowstone. The water gusing out was amazing and it felt like you were right in front of a rocket engine. The viewing point is very close to the geyser so you can hear it quite well. Unfortunaley this geyser is not very predictable. There is a mini geyser right beside it which acts as an indicator. So if the mini geyser goes off , the beehive is probably going to erupt soon. We were so lucky that the beehive and old faithful geyser went off at the same time . If anybody mentions that the beehive geyser is going to erupt, drive back and run to this spot. Do not miss this !
