  This is a moderately difficult short hike - 3.5 mile lollipop - best taken earlier in the day for more solitude. There is a fabulous view of the lake from the summit although you get glimpses of it.....  more »

  We arrived early in the morning and had the trail to ourselves. It took about 3 hours round trip and there were some areas that were steep and narrow. I would not recommend this climb for young...  more »

  Very nice hike and the Views at the top were worth the hike. Yellowstone Lake and Lake Lodge were really beautiful to view. Pretty wooded hiking trail, there was snow around, so it made it very interesting and pretty. Several trails to choose and regularly used.
