Gibbon Falls is a waterfall on the Gibbon River in northwestern Yellowstone National Park in the United States. Gibbon Falls has a drop of approximately 84 feet (26 m). The falls are located roadside, 4.7 miles (7.6 km) upstream from the confluence of the Gibbon and Firehole Rivers at Madison Junction on the Grand Loop Road.

  • These are rather wide falls with rocks that have been smoothed out for eons of years. If you are driving by--you must stop. Easy walkway.  more »
  • easy to see while driving as long as you can slow down enough; roll the windows down and you can hear it; too many other things to see to stop here in my opinion  more »
  • Very big and easy to reach waterfall. You just stop by and by a few meters walking, you can see it. You can also have a broad view to the whole valleys after the waterfall. Easy and short photo point before you going to other places.
