Waterfall · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Kepler Cascades plunge nearly 45 m (150 ft) over multiple, successive drops. A wooden lookout platform allows a closer look and nice photo opportunities. The falls are easily accessible from Old Faithful Village. The scent of pines and the calming sound of rushing water offer a pleasant break from sulfur fumes characteristic for this area dominated by geysers. • This is a pull-off right down the road from Old Faithful while heading toward the Tetons. It is easy-off/easy-on. The walkway is about 100 feet and you can see the falls to one side and downstream...  more »
  • Awesome photo opportunity. Walk way takes you right to the edge of the river. Another hidden gem. Please don't feed the two begging Ravens.  more »
  • Kepler is just off the road to West Thumb about a mile and a half from Old Faithful. It is by far one of the nicest views of a waterfall within easy hiking distance of the geyser basin it is often missed as people head towards the Lake or Tetons. It truly is a nice stop on the road and near some really good hiking trails.
  • Nice spot to take a break and enjoy the lovely scenery. Very easy access from the parking spot, no stairs.
