  • Yowza! What a hike this was. We hiked the “bike” trail out, which is about 3ish miles of flat dirt road. Got to the osprey trail head and I was a bit nervous. I read about the narrow switchbacks. Going down was a struggle. It is narrow and the dirt/rocks can slip out from under you. Hiking boots are a must and I highly recommend trekking poles. Even as someone terrified of heights I’d do this hike a thousand more times to experience that first peek at the falls which you can hear long before you can see. Absolutely stunning! The hike up is... up. A lot of up. But a solid workout! And then 3 quick miles back to the trailhead. We say a coyote and lots of ground squirrels.
  • Stunning waterfall, no crowds at all, bring bear spray for the hike in
