  • We stopped at Sheepeater Cliffs on the way to Mammoth Hot Springs. The rock formation beside the parking lot was very interesting but there were more along the creek flowing by. This would be a nice.....  more »
  • We made this fascinating stop as we drove from Mammoth to Old Faithful. The path to the basalt lava was along a river and the walk was short. It was well worth the time to see something so unusual.....  more »
  • This is the best short hike in Yellowstone. You start out by the volcanic cliffs and hike down the Gardiner River to a beautiful overlook into the valley below. Definitely a must do hike in the park.
