Visit a 1.6 km (1 mi) long white-sand beach and go for a swim, stroll, or just relax at Long Sands Beach. Although bustling with tourists from mid-June to the first week of September, with as many as 3,000-5,000 visitors per day, the beach offers a good number of parking spaces and access for people with disabilities. Participate in popular activities, such as volleyball, swimming, and surfing, with lifeguards on duty between 9:30 am and 4:30 pm during high season. You can rent rafts and umbrellas, or pop into one of the nearby restaurants for some shade and a fresh meal. • BEST BEACH in the USA! always clean ,refreshing Absolutely Beautiful ! There is no place I would rather be.
  • Very nice beach overall and very clean! The sand is hard when you walk on it but the water is clear and refreshing! The tides are really something here with dramatic rising and falling which expose and cover a hundred feet of beach in some areas. Street parking is $2 an hour and parallel parking only northbound on the road. If you want a good parking spot arrive by 10am!
