Lee's Legendary Marbles and Collectibles, York

Oh, my God! These marvel museum in York, Nebraska, is an amazing attraction to see! I talked with Li the almost 90 year old collector, who has been hard at work since 1950 for gathering this amazing assemblage of marble history. I liked Lee and Michael as much as I like the collection… no more than the collection, but the collection, Spectacular unto itself! Lee’s favorite marble is a 1 inch Guinea of which only three were made… It’s very expensive Marble and you’ll have to ask Lee to show it to you because it’s not on general display. It is beautiful. It is so joyous to experience an unexpected treasure, like this on the roads of America!

Such a fun place to pop in! Lee was there, and happy to talk about marbles. I absolutely love getting to talk to someone who is extremely into something, and a true expert on it. There are other antiques, and coins there, but marbles are the real reason to go... even if you're not into marbles.
