    We accidentally found this monument as we were going to the state run Yorktown Museum. The monument is beautiful especially with the water behind it. It is a quick stop and well worth it.  more »

    My daughter and son learning about our history and reading all of the signs. Took some great pictures and my littles got a huge history lesson.

    The victory monument is definitely a beautiful monument to see if you're in Yorktown. It has a lot of history about the revolutionary war and is marvelously crafted. If you're there on Wednesday you might even hear music from the revolutionary era performed by the Fifes and Drinks of Yorktown. In all I'd highly recommend visiting historic Yorktown.
