  • This place is really amazing for someone that likes history and nature. I could have spent an entire day here! It's a gorgeous park with a nice beach on Lake Ontario. The lighthouse was fun to climb up in and they had a nice visitors center. The restrooms were very clean and they had a cute gift shop. The museum had a lot of interesting displays and an informational movie. My favorite part was the old fort and buildings. They are some of the oldest existing structures will see in the States. I loved how they made the officers castle into examples of how the people were living there during the French times! They also do musket shooting demonstrations. Really nice and knowledgeable staff. Highly recommend this place!
  • A clean and complete French house and guard towers. Beautiful location! Grounds well kept up. Inside and history interesting. Volunteer in French House was very nice.loved the grounds and seeing the sail boats on the lake. Worth the price. We just stayed an hour so to catch next free Discovery Shuttle, but worth paying the ticket price.
