Civic Center · Hidden Gem · Tourist Spot
The Covelli Centre is a multi-purpose arena in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. It opened in 2005, thanks in a large part to a $26 million HUD redevelopment grant secured in 2000 by Congressman James A. Traficant, Jr. It is home to the Youngstown Phantoms of the United States Hockey League. The Covelli Centre was previously known as the Chevrolet Centre and is nicknamed "The Chevy Centre" or "The Convo" by some in the area from its former names.

  • I've been there several times for concerts and hockey games. It's always clean, plenty of security. Ushers are friendly and helpful. It's easy to get in and out after events.
  • Went to a hockey game here and though we got here early the line to get the ticket and get inside was so long and miserable that we called in reinforcements to take my son inside because i just couldn't stand to wait any longer!! We had a Groupon that seemed like a good deal until the wait 😆 Parking was $5 and we didn't get to bad of a spot & the attendant let our replacement take our spot without paying extra after we left. Not sure I'll try this again.
