Our tour guide, Lindsay Henderson, was welcoming and enthusiastic. She responded quickly to our email and made an appointment to tour the next day. We met the owners; they obviously love their animals. I highly recommend visiting The Alpacas of Spring Acres!

We drove all the way out there after seeing their whole-page advertisement in one of the Zanesville tourist brochures. If you go in winter, you will not see alpacas on the grounds. And apparently you must call them ahead of time, even though their advertisement sounds very inviting and doesn't mention the need to call them. We just ended up turning around and leaving because they could not accommodate us and open even the store at 15:00 on a weekday.
